 Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker - 12/21/2019
Sarah and I started out Saturday together with our first viewing of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker at AMC
Georgetown 14. This final chapter in the Skywalker saga starred Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Carrie Fisher, Mark
Hamill, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Anthony Daniels and Ian McDiarmid and was directed by J.J. Abrams.
The opening sequence of the film is very efficient filmmaking and gets the right into the heart of the story so
quickly. The acting and story are great. Each of the characters is given a compelling arch and the
resolution of each is very satisfying. There is plenty of action and a great climax.
This movie did not disappoint at all. I was very satisfied with the way this epic tale concluded.
This is a great movie. Go see it. I can’t wait to watch it again.
