 Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse - 12/23/2018
This afternoon Jake, Sarah and I met up at Movies 10 in Nelsonville to see Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse.
This animated superhero film starred the voices of Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld and Mahershala Ali.
First off, the animation style is like nothing I have ever seen. It was truly a visual feast. It was an amazing
mix of 3D and hand drawn animation. And I haven’t seen editing this sharp and quick since Moulin Rouge.
The movie has a great story and the origin story of each version of Spiderman is told in a quick 20 second snapshot.
This was a fantastic ride into a new world of Spiderman.
Other great additions to the film included the voices of Lily Tomlin, Nicolas Cage, John Mulaney, Chris Pine and of course
Stan Lee.
This was a great movie and a lot of fun. Go see it.
