Han Solo Blaster - 10/31/2017
Back in January I decided to dress up as Han Solo for Halloween this year. Over the past few months I have slowly been putting together the pieces of the costume. The pants are simply a pair of dockers that I already have. The holster and the shirt, I ordered online from Etsy. And the vest has been hanging in my closet for years, which I had bought from the Star Wars fan club back in the 1980s.
As for the blaster, I was inspired by Adam Savage to buy a toy and paint it myself to resemble the real gun. I watched a couple of Adam’s YouTube videos again and again to learn some of the techniques to mask, paint and weather this project.
