 The Dark Knight Rises - 7/19/2012
Tonight Sarah and I went to see the midnight opening of The Dark Knight Rises at Movies 10 in Nelsonville. This is the finale
of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. The movie starred Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway,
Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine.
Four years ago I said that part two of this trilogy, The Dark Knight, was the best superhero movie ever made. This finale episode has
surpassed it. The Dark Knight Rises is the best superhero movie ever made.
Everything is this movie was great. The story, the acting, the stunts, the effects, the music, the action and the ending. This
great story was complex but not complicated. It went from optomistic to deep dispare, had a truly great plot twist and finished with a
very satisfing conclusion. The acting and stunts were top-notch. Anne Hathaway as Cat Woman was done so well and a great complex
character. Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character is great too and leaves so must for future development. Yay for Hans Zimmer and his
great score.
There is so much more I could say about this film. I really enjoyed every minute of this movie.
This is a great movie. You have to go see it.
