Comment Removed from Facebook - 2/27/2010
Five days ago I joined Facebook. Earlier today I posted a comment on a friend's wall in which I quoted a single line from Facebook's
own Terms of Use. This evening when I checked to see if anyone had added their own comment, I found none. In fact, my comment had
been deleted completely. Actually, I should say it was removed, because nothing ever truly gets deleted from Facebook. I'd
bet my comment was removed by my friend and not by the Facebook overlords.
This is one of those small reasons I maintain my own site. Call me a control freak if you must.
I'm not the only person who says Facebook is a cult. Like the old adage says, "It's funny because it's true".
