Convicted terrorist returns home to a hero's welcome - 8/21/2009
After being released from a Scottish prison, convicted terrorist Abdel Baset al-Megrahi returned home to a hero's welcome in Libya.
Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond condemned the celebrations surrounding the return. "I don't think the reception for Mr.
al-Megrahi was appropriate in Libya, I don't think that was wise and I don't think that was the right thing to do," he said.
Is it "appropriate", "wise" or "the right thing to do" when Scotland released convicted terrorist?
