Cedar Point Day Two - 8/31/2025
After a record setting 14 1/2 hour visit to Cedar point yesterday, today I planned to stay for just half a day before driving home. I
arrived at the park before 9 o'clock to take advantage of the park's early entry. And I was able to confirm that the GateKeeper flyover
at the end of the playing of the Star-Spangled Banner is in fact a regular part of the day at the park.

I made my way directly to Siren's Curse to avoid the long lines later in the day. This worked out really well as I was on the second
train of the morning.
Next, I was headed to Millennium Force, but unfortunately it was closed so I then headed to Top Thrill 2. Just like yesterday, as the
gates opened to the general public at 10:00, the crowds swamped the lines for the coasters at the front of the park, so I headed to Frontier
Town to ride Steel Vengeance. On this coaster, my wait was just over 30 minutes.
As the park became more crowded, I got rides on the Cedar Creek Mine Ride, Skyhawk and the Cedar Point and Lake Erie Railroad.
Once I was back on the main midway, I could see that simply navigating through the crowd was becoming a little bit of a challenge and
clearly more people were still filing into the park. With this and the fact that it was now past 1 o'clock, I decided it was nearly
time for me to head home.

My last ride of the day was on Cedar Downs which surprisingly turned out to have no wait at all. It was a total walk on.
As I exited the park and navigated my car out of the parking lot, there were still masses of people headed into the park. I think
leaving the park now was the right decision.
This was still an enjoyable visit to Cedar Point with great weather, and I made my ride choices very well to manage the wait times and the
crowd as it grew throughout the morning and into the afternoon. Now my plan is to return to Cedar point and bring along Sarah or Emma
so that they can experience Siren's Curse too.
