Kings Island Pride Night - 9/6/2024
Tonight Shawn, Brian and I attended the annual Pride Night private event at Kings Island. And also joining us were five
of Shawn and Brian's friends from Pittsburgh.
We all met up together and introduced ourselves just inside the main gate near the Royal Fountains. We then immediately
set off for an evening of roller coasters. Up first was Diamondback, followed by Mystic Timbers and The Beast. We then
headed to the other side of the park where we rode Orion. Up next, a few of the guys road Delirium, however, I sat this one
out.
Banshee and Bat were next before we headed to Racer. Not all the guys wanted to ride Racer, but I was able to convince the
group that it would be worth the ride. And afterwards several of the guys admitted that it was a much better ride than they
had expected.
We wanted to go on Orion again, but the wait time was too long, so we headed to The Beast for our final ride. And as usual,
finishing off the evening with a night ride on The Beast is always the best.
It was a great evening riding coasters at Kings Island. The crowd was smaller than I had anticipated. It allowed us
to casually walk from ride to ride without the fear of missing out on any of the coasters we wanted. The weather was great
with temperatures just cool enough that a jacket was not needed. And again a great evening in the park.
