A Christmas Story House - 11/13/2022
After a quick continental breakfast at the hotel, Shawn and I left Dearborn. Next was a short stop in Lambertville,
Michigan for Shawn to buy a used mellophone. Then we made the long drive across northern Ohio to Cleveland, which
went kind of quickly. Our destination was A Christmas Story House.
Hidden in the quiet Cleveland neighborhood of Tremont, the house is easily accessible from I-71. There are two small
parking lots which were full, so we found some street parking a couple of blocks away. In addition to the main house,
there is also a gift shop, the museum and The Bumpas House.
From the outside the gift shop appears to be a simple house, but inside is a vast open space filled with a wide variety of
A Christmas Story merchandise. Even adult-sized pink bunny costumes. There are also some items from other films
and TV, such as Elf.
Out on the street Shawn and I took a few photos as the light snow fell. There are also tours available of the house,
but we did not partake.

This was a very nice side trip during our weekend journey.
