Point Pleasant - 5/7/2021
Today I left work a little early so that I could drive Sarah to Gallipolis to get her second Covid vaccine
injection. Then we drove across the river to visit Point Pleasant, West Virginia.
As soon as we parked downtown, we quickly found the Mothman Statue.
Nearby, we walked along the banks of the Ohio River and viewed the expertly painted mural on the city’s
floodwall. Each panel depicted a period in the region’s history.

Sarah and I wrapped up our short visit with an excellent Mexican meal at a downtown restaurant. It was a quick
and easy road trip to one of the many historic cities of the Ohio Valley.
