 Avengers: Endgame - 4/28/2019
This evening Sarah and I went to see Avengers: Endgame at Movies 10 in Nelsonville. This is the Marvel conclusion to
Infinity War and starred Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo and Karen
Gillan.
This movie tells the story after the grand events of Infinity War, how our heroes cope and eventually try to undo what Thamos has
done.
This is wonderful filmmaking. Right from the short opening scene it is powerful, moving and very efficient storytelling. With
each consecutive scene the story builds. The pieces come together and the characters devise a plan. As their actions play out
there is a real sense of jeopardy. This is true movie magic. And the end battle is so well done. In the hands of a lesser
studio it would have simply been CGI in a blender, but Marvel has done a beautiful job with this.
This is absolutely a movie you need to watch.
