 Bohemian Rhapsody - 11/12/2018
This evening Sarah and I went to Movies 10 in Nelsonville to see Bohemian Rhapsody. This biopic starred Rami Malek, Lucy
Boynton, Gwilym Lee and Ben Hardy and was directed by Bryan Singer.
This movie tells the story of rise of Queen and centered on the life of Freddie Mercury. Malek does an amazing job of
portraying Mercury. Many people have said “Rami is Freddie” and I agree. I also think Gwilym Lee’s performance as Brian
May is top notch. Mike Myers’ small role is delightful and very meta.
The soundtrack of the film is, of course, as amazing as you would expect. The finale of the film is moving and astounding.
The filmmakers really make you feel as part of the scene. It’s like you were really there in that place and time.
This is a truly great movie and must be seen on the big screen. Go see it.
