OU Drumline on Court St. - 10/19/2018
This evening Jake and I visited uptown Athens to kick off OU’s Homecoming Weekend. We walked along Court Street talking
and watching the crowds. We stopped at Goodfellas on Union Street for some pizza before we continued our walk through
uptown. Outside of the Court Street Diner we watched the 110 drumline performing their cadences. Next, we made our
way to Buffalo Wing Wings to await the arrival of the drumline. Once inside, we ran into Jalyn and her friends. The
first thing I said to her was, “Didn’t we meet at this same table three years ago?” Sarah soon joined us as the crowd
packed in. The mass of people pushed back to make room for the drumline to enter and play for the drove of fans, students
and alumni.
