 The Butler - 8/18/2013
Sarah and I went to Movies 10 in Nelsonville to see The Butler. This drama is inspired by true events and starred Forest
Whitaker, David Banner, Oprah Winfrey, Cuba Gooding, Jr. and Lenny Kravitz.
The movie tells two parallel stories of a family who's father near the epicenter of American government and the changing American history
that is unfolding around them all. It is a dramatic telling of a father and son relationship over time. It is also a reminder of
how far the cival rights has come over the past century in this country.
The entire cast is exceptional. Forest Whitaker will surely receive an Oscar nomination.
This is a great film. Go see it.
