 Predators - 7/10/2010
Tonight I went with Matt to see Predators at Movies 10 in Nelsonville. The movie starred Adrien Brody, Topher Grace and Alice
Braga.
This movie is a sequel and somewhat of a reboot for the Predator series. Although the film does an excellent job of standing
completely on its own.
The film had a good pace, a good story, lots of action and built suspense very well. The movie didn't reveal too much, to quickly.
Just the way a good thriller should. And of course there was lots of action, good special effects and cool aliens.
I didn't think Adrien Brody could pull off a manly action role, but he did a good job. And Topher Grace did a surpisingly good job
also, as the doctor who is placed in the group for seemingly no good reason. The end game involving the doctor's story line is great.
You would think that an action movie with Adrien Brody and Topher Grace is just a recipe for disaster, but it actually works out very
well.
The movie had very little advertising prior to its release and I had very low expectations for it. But the film is much better that
I would have ever thought. It's a good movie.
