The Wizard of Oz with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra - 1/30/2010
Tonight Sarah and I went to the Ohio Theater in Columbus to see the Columbus Symphony Orchestra's A Symphonic Night at the Movies: Oz
with Orchestra.
The original Wizard of Oz was shown on the big screen above the orchestra. The film provided the dialog of course as well as the
vocals during the musical numbers. The orchestra played in sync with the vocals.
This was the first time I have ever seen the Wizard of Oz on the big screen. And with the live symphony orchestra it became a whole
new experience. It was almost as if I was seeing the film for the first time.
