Halloween at Cedar Point - 10/31/2009
I headed up the road this morning for a day of fun at Cedar Point on this Halloween. Boo! There’s a full moon tonight.
I knew it was going to be cold. It is late October in Ohio after all. The strong winds blowing across Lake Erie made it
nearly unbearable. Several of the tall coasters were down due to the high winds. Millennium Force was down for most of the day.
Top Thrill Dragster was out of commission all day due to countless rollbacks during testing that went on and on until they finally
gave up.
During my afternoon in the park I rode Skyhawk, Disaster Transport, Blue Streak, Corkscrew, Gemini, Iron Dragon, Magnum XL-200, Wicked
Twister, Wildcat and finally Millennium Force.
The cold and wind got the best of me and I headed to my warm hotel room. I was still having a hard time getting warm, so I headed
to Bob Evans for some hot Chicken and Noodles and Hot Tea. It really hit the spot.
Hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow for closing day.
