More Kings Island and Diamondback ERT - 5/8/2009
Today I took a day off of work so I could enjoy the coasters of Kings Island by myself.
Last Friday I checked the Kings Island webcam several time during the day and saw that there were little to no lines of people waiting for
the new Diamondback hyper-coaster campus. So I decided that today was the day for me to take my first solo rides of the year.
With early entry into the park I was able to get the front row of the very first train of the day on Diamondback. My second trip was
in the very last row. I put my arms above and behind me through the water splash and I did get wet. The force of the water hitting
my arms was not nearly as intense as I had expected. During the half hour of ERT I was able to get 5 laps on this steel beast. By
the end of the day I had a total of eight laps.
During my day at Kings Island I was also able to ride Delirium, Firehawk, Backlot Stunt Coaster, Invertigo, Flight of Fear, Racer, Flight
Deck and of course the Eiffel Tower.
