Last Ride of the Year - 11/1/2008
Sarah and I left early this morning for a short day of rides at Kings Island. This was our first trip ever to an amusement park during
November.
We arrived at the park just before opening at 11am and stayed until about 3 o'clock. The weather was great, 70 degrees, clear skies and
a light wind. We rode all of our favorite rides like Delirium, Racers, Adventure Express, Firehawk, Flight of Fear, Vortex and Flight
Deck. Sarah and I rode Racer twice and got some great airtime on each ride. We both agreed that it was the best rides we had ever
had on Racer.
We were able to see Diamondback under construction. The giant coaster had just been topped off 2 days ago. Ole Glory was flying
proudly atop the lift hill.
Our last coaster ride for 2008 was on Flight Deck.
It will be a long winter, and I am already looking forward to more rides in 2009.
