Sarah is off to Brazil - 6/24/2024
This afternoon I drove Sarah to the airport in Columbus as she began her next adventure.
From John Glenn Columbus International Airport, Sarah flew to Washington, DC for some training as part of this temporary
job. On July 4th she will be flying out of our nation's capital with her coworkers and U.S. high school students to Rio
de Janeiro, Brazil for a few days and then on to Salvador, Brazil where she will spend a couple weeks working with the
students on an intercultural exchange program. They will be visiting historical and cultural sites and participating in
workshops at local schools and nonprofits. She helps run program logistics and safety protocols, and leads planning
workshops for the students' community service projects.
I'm always proud to see Sarah's working adventures taking her around the world. This trip takes her to her fourth
and final hemisphere.
