Opening day at Kennywood - 4/20/2024
This morning Shaw, Brian and I went to Kennywood for their opening day of the year. Brain and Shawn have season passes
and were able to get me a day pass for free.
We rode all of the coasters that were operating. Almost all of them were running just one train, but the crowds
were small enough that the lines were still short.
Steel Curtain was closed, which was a disappointment. Kennywood announced just a few days ago that the coaster would
be closed for the entire year. I would think that this news right as the season began and most season pass holders have
already made their purchase, would have really pissed them off.
It was a great day at the park with Brian and Shawn and the weather was perfect too.
