Cedar Point - 9/28/2023
This afternoon I drove to Sandusky to have an evening visit at Cedar Point. I checked into my hotel and
then made my way to the front gate at 5 o'clock for early entry.
As I made my way to GateKeeper for my first ride of the evening, I noticed that the Boardwalk has been renamed
Bone Walk for HalloWeekends.
Throughout the evening I managed to get rides Millennium Force, Maverick, Mine Ride, Raptor, Blue Streak, Cedar
Downs, Sky Ride, and I think, for the first time ever, a night ride on Steel Vengeance, which was wild.
I saw that construction on Top Thrill 2 has continued. The tower for the reverse spike now stands at 149
feet.
I dressed warm for the evening, expecting the temperature to drop after sunset. But the low overcast skies
kept the heat in, and it was quite comfortable weather. Meanwhile, my warm attire made me feel a bit sweaty
and overdressed.
Pumpkin Hollow was once again decorated with beautiful seasonal designs for Halloweekends.
After sunset the park's lights came to life.
It was a great evening at the park and good fall weather. Tomorrow I'll be having more coaster fun, both
here and at Kennywood.
