Ohio Hockey vs West Virginia - 10/7/2021
Thanks to the pandemic, tonight I attended my first hockey game in over a year.
I met Jake at Broney's Alumni Grill in uptown Athens for dinner. Apparently this is his new favorite place
to eat.
On our way to the hockey game Jake had us stop in at The Over Hang so that he could introduce me to a new shot,
a Root Beer Float shot. I have to admit, it's very good.
We finally arrived at Bird Arena for the game against West Virginia. It was good to be back in action
with the other fans. Although, the concessions were not open. We cheered on the Bobcats as they beat
WV 5-1.
It kind of felt like we were a little back to normal. Good times, regardless.
