 The Shape of Water - 2/4/2018
This evening I went to see The Shape of Water at Movies 10 in Nelsonville. This fantasy drama starred Sally Hawkins, Octavia Spencer, Richard Jenkins and Michael Shannon and was directed by Guillermo del Toro.
This is a creative mix of science-fiction, fantasy, drama, thriller and a love story. It uniquely captures the space race era of the 1960’s with hints of racism and homophobia of the times. The film does this largely with its cinematography and art direction. Each of the actors does a perfect job of portraying their roles.
This is a very good movie. Go see it.
