 Blade Runner 2049 - 10/19/2017
I went to Movies 10 in Nelsonville to see Blade Runner 2049. This science fiction movie starred Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas, Robin Wright, Jared Leto, Sylvia Hoeks and Harrison Ford.
This was a good movie. The storyline and visuals are grand in scope and immersive. The sounds design is impressive. It was a great ride seeing the mystery of the story unfold.
Ryan Gosling does an excellent portrayal of the lead character. Ana de Arma plays a holographic girlfriend named Joi. This character was a real standout and delight in this film. This introduces a third level of existence to this world; humans, replicants and holograms. These have the feel of social classes and I would love to see this these interactions explored more in future films.
I really enjoyed this movie. Go check it out.
