The King's Speech - 2/3/2011
Tonight I went to see The King's Speech at Movies 10 in Nelsonville. The movie starred Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush and Helena
Bonham Carter.
This is the historic story of a speech therapist that helps King George VI of Britain as he ascends to the throne. The film covers the
time from the depression to the start of World War II.
It is a very good story and a good movie. And the acting is the best. Colin Firth does an outstanding job as the king and
portrays the progression of speech improvements most realistically. Geoffrey Rush plays the uncompromising therapist flawlessly. And
Helena Bonham Carter is fantastic as the queen and caring wife.
The King's Speech is a very good movie. See it for yourself.
