The Living Christmas Tree - 12/12/2009
Today Mom, Derek, Crissy, Jake, Sarah and I went to Urbana to visit with Duane and Cheryl and their family. Charlie and Jill also
joined us. We spent the afternoon eating and visiting with each other.
In the evening we all formed a caravan and drove to the Maiden Lane Church of God in Springfield to see The Living Christmas
Tree.
I was very impressed with the performance. The church building was large enough to seat over a thousand people. There were
moving sets, fog, great lighting, actors, an orchestra a choir of 50 and of course, the Christmas tree that was about thirty feet tall.
The story was powerful and moving.
We all had a great time. Again, I was very impressed.
