1981 Walsh killing 'solved' today - 12/16/2008
Today in Hollywood, Florida police announced that they have solved the 27-year-old murder case of Adam Walsh. After Adam's death, his
father, John became an advocate for missing children and host of "America's Most Wanted"
Police say serial killer Ottis Toole, who died in prison in 1996 at the age of 49, is the murderer. Toole was serving five life
sentences for other murders. He confessed to the Walsh killing at least twice, including a deathbed confession in prison.
Is it just me? The police have a confession from a known killer and it still takes an additional 12 years to 'solve' the case?
Am I missing something?
