Six Flags St. Louis, Day 2 - 6/30/2026
Today began with a breakfast buffet at the hotel's restaurant and then we took the shuttle bus to the park. We arrived at Six
Flags St. Louis shortly after opening at 11:00. Right from the start we could tell that today was even hotter than yesterday.
We started off with rides on American Thunder, Shazam!, Justice League: Battle for Metropolis, and Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast. All
of this by noon.
Next we took the thirteen minute ride on Colossus, the park's 180 foot giant Ferris wheel, where I was able to capture some pictures
looking down at the park.

Next we rode two great flat rides, Supergirl Sky Flyer, a Zamperla Endeavour and The Joker: Carnival of Chaos, a Zamperla spinning
pendulum ride.
Then we rode Rookie Racer, a Vekoma kids coaster, which now brings my total roller coaster count to 304.

Emma took a solo ride on Pandemonium, while I found a shaded park bench to rest on. The extreme heat was approaching 100. Sure,
the sun was hot on our skin. But we could feel more and more heat radiating up from the asphalt. We decided to ride a couple
more roller coasters and then the park's two water rides and call it a day.
So we got any lap on Screaming Eagle and Batman The Ride and did some shopping. It was about 3:00 and we were completely worn
out from the brutal heat and decided to skip the water rides and just head back to the hotel.
These past two days were a great visit to Six Flags St. Louis in spite of the extreme heat.
Back at the hotel we took refreshing showers and made a short drive to introduce Emma to Culver's. I got a burger and fries and
for a restaurant famous for hamburgers, Emma chose to get a chicken sandwich.

Once more back at the hotel Emma got into the pool. We spent the rest of the evening relaxing and resting up for tomorrow's long drive home with air conditioning.
