OU Homecoming - 10/18/2025
My 2025 OU Homecoming day began this morning as I headed to Athens and found my spot along Union Street on the College Green to watch the
Homecoming Parade. The parade stepped off at 10:00 and about fifteen minutes later it had reached me.

I met up with Crissy and Jake after the parade for a walk through Uptown Athens. Meanwhile, Sarah was at Peden Stadium for
rehearsal.
After a while I made my way down the hill to Aquatic Grove where Sarah found me after the bands had finished their rehearsal. Around
12:30 we joined the alumni and 110 members for the pre-game tailgate.
Crissy and Jake joined me as we made our way into the stadium for the 3:30 kickoff for the game against the Northern Illinois Huskies.
At the end of the first half Ohio University was leading Northern Illinois with a score of 21 to 8. And then The Marching 110 took to
the field for their halftime show.
Then the 110 Alumni Band joined them for an electrifying performance of Stand Up and Cheer and Train of Thought.
We cheered on the Bobcats as they captured a 48-21 win.
After the game both the Marching 110 and the 110 Alumni Band performed a postgame show to the delight of all the fans of the marching bands
It was a day of great homecoming events with family under a bright sunny sky.
