Cedar Point with Sarah - 9/27/2025
Today Sarah and I spent the entire day at Cedar Point. I was excited to introduce Sarah to not just one, but two new roller
coaster experiences at the park, Siren's Curse and Top Thrill 2.
Our first ride of the day was on Siren's Curse, the park's new tilt coaster. I could go on and on about how much I love this
ride and how much fun it is. And Sarah liked it too.
The second coaster was Top Thrill 2, the reengineered Top Thrill Dragster. This is a whole new experience.
Throughout the day we had to contend with the large Saturday crowd as we made our way from ride to ride. For lunch we ate at
The Farmhouse Kitchen and Grill in Frontier Town.
New for 2025 the park begins its evening haunts with a new format. Before 7:00 we waited near the midway train station for the
show to begin. The scare actors arrived by foot and began to board the train. Sarah and I then realized that the event would
actually take place at the Frontier Town station. We immediately began walking as fast as we could through the crowds of people on
Frontier Trail. We raced against the train just in time to join the gathered crowd to see the opening 'Scaremonies'. This is
a new event where the scare actors arrive by train to the Frontier Town station, led by the character 'Mr. Midnight'.

We finished our day with another lap on Siren's Curse. As I looked back on our day, I realized that every single time we were
waiting in line for a coaster, the ride was closed for at least a short while. Despite the large crowds and maintenance delays,
we did enjoy our day at the park. I was especially happy to share my love of Cedar Point's two new coaster experiences with
Sarah.
