AJR at the Ohio State Fair - 8/1/2025
This afternoon around 2:30 I was sitting in my living room when Crissy texted Sarah and me about the band, AJR. I had
seen their videos and enjoyed their music. While Sarah had already seen them in concert and loved the experience. So
we all decided right there on the spur of the moment to go to the Ohio State Fair this evening and see AJR in concert.
Emma, Crissy, Sarah and I arrived together at the fairgrounds at about 6:30. We had about an hour to explore the fair
and get a bite to eat. We filed into the Celeste Center and found our seats. The opening act was Valley. Afterwards,
AJR took the stage. The enthusiastic crowd instantly rose to their feet to enjoy the concert. The concert was the first
time I ever stood for an entire performance. It is also the first time that the entire audience singing along, didn't annoy
the crap out of me. Although I'm not a die-hard AJR fan, I did recognize nearly all of the songs and sang along whenever
possible. I really enjoyed every moment of the high-energy show which lasted about an hour and a half. The lights, video
and sound were all excellent.
The four of us all really enjoyed the concert and it was a great evening together with family.
