Quarry Trails Metro Park - 3/15/2025
Today Sarah and I took some time to explore one of the newest metro parks in the city of Columbus, Quarry Trails Metro
Park. It is about five miles from downtown near the Marble Cliff neighborhood and along the Scioto River.
The park features many walking trails, mountain bike trails, streams, and lakes.

The quarry activities here over the past decades have created man-made streams, lakes, and most impressively cliffs.
Immediately adjacent to the public areas of the park quarry activities still continue today. The weather was chilly
under a bright partly overcast sky with a light breeze. We enjoyed our time exploring this most unique park. I
