WRX Hit by a Deer - 2/4/2025
This morning, I was on my way to work driving east on US Route 33 towards Athens. I was in the left lane near the Athens
Messenger offices when I noticed the traffic in the right lane slowing down. I then saw a group of deer on the right edge of
the road. Just as I was breaking hard to slow down, one of the deer ran towards me and attempted to jump over my car, but
instead collided with the right front fender, front door and windshield. I continued slowing down and moved to the left
towards the median, and as I did, I surmised that the damage to my car was not so severe that I wouldn't be able to continue
driving safely. I drove the last mile or so to work and then surveyed the damage.

After further inspection, I found that the damage not only included the front fender, front right door and windshield but also
the hood and left rear door also sustained less severe damage.
Now it is up to In-town Body Shop to restore my new car to its original condition.
