 Wicked - 11/24/2024
Today Sarah and I went to AMC Easton Town Center in Columbus to see Wicked. This musical starred Cynthia Erivo,
Ariana Grande, Jonathan Baile, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum.
The famous Broadway musical is brought to the big screen in this grand spectacle. The movie takes place in the Land of
Oz before the events of the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. It tells the fantasy story of Elphaba, the future Wicked Witch of the
West, and her friendship with Galinda, who becomes Glinda the Good.
The visuals are outstanding, whimsical and yet realistic. There is great set design, cinematography and CGI. Of
course the music is the star of the movie. I was happy that none of the others attending the movie tried to sign along and
ruin the movie experience for me.
This is a great musical. Go see it.
