Red, White and Boom! - 7/3/2023
Crissy, Jake, Emma, Sarah and I all met in Columbus to see the fireworks of Red, White and Boom!
Sarah and I stopped to watch the parade along Main Street on the way to our meeting spot with the Steenrods.
Then we joined Crissy, Jake and Emma on the west shore of the Scioto River. We enjoyed the beautiful weather
as we visited together. And this was Emma's first trip to see the Columbus fireworks in person.
After the great fireworks display, we made our way back to our usual parking spot in the Franklin County parking
garage. From there we made good time getting home as the new reconstructed Fulton Street exit from downtown
works flawlessly to solve the downtown traffic congestion.
It was a great evening together with family, and as usual a fantastic display of fireworks.
