With yet another lengthy power outage at home, I headed to the Athena Grand in Athens to watch 65. This
science fiction action thriller starred Adam Driver and Ariana Greenblatt.
After their spacecraft crashes on an unknown planet, pilot Mills and the only other survivor, Koa, must find a
way off of prehistoric Earth (not a spoiler, you know it's Earth the entire movie). They must make their way across
an unknown terrain riddled with dinosaurs. It's a race against time to get to the escape ship before an
asteroid collides with Earth, wiping out much of all life on the planet.
The physics of the spacecraft crashing into two separate pieces and also then the physics of how to launch from
Earth just doesn't make sense to me.
Adam Driver is great in the movie, but it's a shame that his great talents were wasted in this movie.
It is barely a good movie if you turn your brain off. Go check it out if you have nothing better to do, or
if your power is out at home.
