Art in DC - 7/2/2022
I spent this holiday weekend in DC with Sarah, primarily to see Washington's Fourth of July fireworks
display. Today we toured two art galleries downtown.
First was Renwick Gallery at Pennsylvania Avenue and 17th Street NW, near the White House.

It is a branch museum of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and is dedicated to contemporary craft and
decorative arts.
Our second visit was at The National Gallery of Art, East Building, which displays modern and contemporary
art. It is located at Pennsylvania Avenue and 4th Street NW on the National Mall.
Sarah and I had a relaxing day exploring the galleries and enjoying the diverse artworks.
